THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS
At Dante Bianco, we want every piece you purchase to remain as radiant as the day you first wore it. We recommend the following daily considerations to preserve your jewelry as long as possible:
Put jewelry on last, take it off first. Perfume, hairspray, lotion, and sunscreen are the biggest enemies of metal and gemstones.
Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, cleaning, or sleeping.
Avoid extreme temperature changes (hot tubs, saunas, freezing outdoors).
Store properly: Keep pieces in a lined jewelry box or soft pouches, ideally with anti-tarnish strips. Never toss them in a drawer where they can scratch each other.
Separate by type: Store necklaces hung or laid flat to prevent tangling; keep pearls and opals in soft cloth bags away from harder gems.
We at Dante Bianco would like to share some maintenance advice to ensure your pieces remain bright while avoiding unintentional damage.
Many over-the-counter dips contain harsh chemicals that damage gemstones and plated finishes. Meanwhile, viral "hacks" often advise abrasive pastes which can create shine in the short term but damage jewelry in the long term.
To clean your creations, use lukewarm water & a small amount of liquid dish soap applied with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately after cleaning.
