Tricolor Zoned Parti Sapphire Matched Pair - Garba Tula, Kenya - 2.375ct (Total)

A precisely matched pair of natural parti sapphires from Garba Tula, Kenya, distinguished by an unusual three-color architecture of deep oceanic teal, luminous lime-yellow, and subtle sage green.

Together weighing 2.375 carats, the two sapphires are closely calibrated at approximately 6.50 × 6.40 × 3.50 mm each and fashioned as soft-cornered modified trillion brilliants. Their most compelling characteristic is the correspondence of their internal color zoning: each stone carries a rich teal perimeter surrounding a bright yellow central zone, with green appearing through secondary flashes as the stones move through light.

The effect is neither static nor uniform. From one angle the pair reads as deep oceanic blue-green; with rotation, the yellow core becomes increasingly prominent before giving way to flashes of sage. This changing relationship between color fields gives the stones an almost architectural quality, as though separate planes of material have been revealed within a single crystalline structure.

Both sapphires possess high transparency and an eye-clean face-up appearance. Fine crystallographic growth structures and minute silk are visible under magnification, following the natural boundaries between the color zones while leaving the stones bright and open to the eye.

The matched dimensions and corresponding color architecture make this pair particularly suited to jewelry in which symmetry is intentional: earrings, opposing architectural elements, or a composed Dante Bianco design where the stones can function as two related volumes rather than merely matching accents.

Small variations between the stones remain part of their identity. Their value lies precisely in the balance between correspondence and natural geological variation.
